There are many cool clothes for men, but not so many bags. So, I decided to make them myself. With that straightforward idea, I launched the men's bag brand "YOUTA" in 2006. The material I focused on, having worked in various apparel-related fields such as clothing, watches, and shoes, was synthetic leather. It's a lightweight and rain-resistant material, so unlike genuine leather, it doesn't require maintenance. The fact that it's "vegan leather" made from non-animal materials that suits modern times was another reason I chose synthetic leather.
