Sugawara, Representative and Designer of YOUTA There are many stylish clothes for men, but not many bags. So, I decided to make them myself. With that straightforward thought, I launched the men's bag brand "YOUTA" in 2006. The material I focused on, after working in various apparel fields like clothing, watches, and shoes, was synthetic leather. It's lightweight, rain-resistant, and unlike genuine leather, requires no maintenance. The fact that it's made from a modern, non-animal material called "vegan leather" was another reason I chose synthetic leather.
