The horse leather used is tanned by skilled tanners in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture. The surface is finished with a dyeing process that brings out the natural leather look. The back part is finished with a pigment to prevent color transfer.
*The photo on the left is one that has been used for 3 years, and the photo on the right is a new item. The characteristics of horse leather are that it is light and durable. Unlike cowhide, it is soft and comfortable to wear. Also, like a rider's jacket, the lining is waterproofed to prevent water from seeping into the contents of the bag, so you can rest assured even if it suddenly rains. *Because leather is a natural material, there are various traces of the animal on the surface. Just like human skin, there are wrinkles, streaks where blood vessels were, scars from injuries, blemishes, moles, etc. Please enjoy the uniqueness of each piece. |
